The Knicks became the first team in NBA History to reach the NBA Finals as the 8 seed in 1999. The Knicks upset the Heat, the Hawks and the Pacers and the to reach the NBA Finals. Unfortunately, they lost to the Spurs.
Game 5 against the Heat was especially great watching the Knicks pull out the upset. Houston's runner against the Heat was nothing short of classic.
Given the state of the Knicks now, these are the golden days of New York Knicks basketball.
